This trekking program to Langtang and Gosainkunda takes you through a dense forest of bamboo, oak, rhododendron, and beautiful villages. These villages belong mostly to the Tamang and Sherpa communities, who practice their own unique culture and tradition. On this program from Multi Adventure Trek, you will trek to the divine Gosaikunda Lake and other lakes; and visit a number of geographical locations such as meadows, pastures, hills, forests, and rivers.
A highlight of this trek is the chance to see magnificent close-up views of the mountains. An added bonus is that you will have one of the most immersive treks in Nepal. Lying north of Kathmandu, this is a moderate trek along Trisuli river at first – taking you deep into Langtang Valley to places such as Hyolmo and Gosainkunda. The lush forests will soothe your senses and inspire you in this wonderful Himalayan journey to a high-altitude lake.
Starting from Kathmandu, you will go through Syabrubesi and Thulo Syabru in Rasuwa district of Nepal. Most of the trekking route in this program lies inside Langtang National Park. The route is densely forested with oak, with plenty of chances of seeing wildlife species native to this region. You will visit and stay at Kyanjin Gompa where you can tour a little yak cheese factory, and also take part in the prayer sessions of the monastery. Along the route we will visit the holy Lake Gosainkunda
