Die Reise war ein großes Erlebnis für uns alle! Wir haben bereits ein Nachtreffen gemacht und unsere Bilder angesehen.

Ich habe meine Bilder (ca. 250 Stück von insgesamt etwa 1000) auch schon anderen Leuten  gezeigt und werde es natürlich noch öfter tun.

To all Nepal travelers,

I have been using Multi Adventure to organise our treks for the last two years.

In 2002 we were 7 tourists and in 2003 we were 9 tourists in the group. Both years the trip went to Makalu Base Camp. the first year I broke my leg on day 4, that`s the reason why I made the same trek twice. when I broke my leg the transportation back to Hospital in Kathmandu was handled perfectly by the Multi Adventure staff. The rest of the group had a successful trek to Base Camp. In October 2003 we were 7 girls and 2 guys who had 24 days perfect tent trek to Makalu B.C. and back. The Hotel and the sightseeing in Kathmandu was also organised perfectly by Multi A.V. I can varmly recommend Multi A.V. as trekking organiser, you always know that every thing is taken care of, the staff is professional and well equipped, and trained to take care of the environment.

Whit best wises for a good trekking season.

Hallo Nepal Fans und Namaste,

Vom meinem Langtang Trekkingbericht, er wurde mit 5 Fotos in der Zeitung fast ganzseitig abgedruckt, wurd ich angeregt einen solchen von unserer Dolpo Tour zu schreiben. Es war für  mich ein Erlebnis beim Schreiben wieder so reichtig einzutauchen in diese so schöne Zeit.

Verglichen mit den Touren ergibt sich folgende Rangfolge:

Ander Spitze weit voran              "Dolpo"

auch sehr schön                        "Kumbu"

schön                                       "Langtang"

Nun war ich schon viermal in Neapl aber die Sehnsuch dorthin hört wohl nie auf. Leider gehe ich aufgrund meines aters Grenzen entgegen.

Was mich noch einmal sehr begeistern könnte wäre "Rollwalling" in ein paar Jahren, allerdings müßte ich viel trainieren und weniger Körpergewicht mitschleppen.

Es ist schön, dass ihr/du mich nicht vergessen habt und ich freue mich über über bestimmte Leute wie Rinji, Tika Ram, Chyangba oder Chenga und von dir zu hören. Es tut gut zu wissen, dass es allen gut geht. Bitte grüße sie herzlich von mir, wenn sie wieder in Kathmandu sind.

Ich denke nach wie vor sehr oft an meine Zeit in Nepal und wenn ich das Geld beisammen habe und auch meine körperliche Kondition wieder hergestellt ist, dann möchte ich so gerne nochmals kommen, ich wünsche mir, dass es klappen wird. Dann kann ich all die Menschen wieder treffen, die mir doch sehr viel Freude bereitet haben und mich in meiner traurigen, einsamen Trekkingzeit umsorgt haben. Ich werde das nie vergessen.

Meine Tochter Carola schreibt in der Schule ein Referat über Nepal, sie konnte in meinen vielen Büchern nachlesen und es hat

Spaß gemacht, ihr viele Tipps zu geben und es war für uns alle interessant.

Nevertheless, we had have a very good time and stay in Nepal and we enjoyed every

day of our trek during Langtang or Kathmandu valley very much. Now it is very difficult for

us to tell other people about our experience we made and about what we have seen or done.

There are too many thinks we had seen, so that it is really not easy to tell here someone about

the "new-world" we saw in Nepal.

So I would like to say once again "thank you" to your and all members of the team who joined us

during the trek for your help and support. It had been a real big time for us!

If Nepal would not be so far away from Germany I would like to stay at next weekend in your home.

It's hard to get back to work after such a nice and comfortable holiday.

The most German knows Nepal only as a place with many mountains, tempels and  yaks good for trekking and hill climbing, but nobody knows anything about the  king, the political system and the religious problems.

Some days later they forget everything and talk about the lovely mountains in

the golden city.

I often think about the fantastic trip to Langtang and look to my pictures

and dream about the mountains.

I tell all my friends to go to Nepal.

All of us very like to say you once more, that we have had a fantastic trip together with Chenga and the others. Sometime we meet each other here in town and then we begin to speak about all that and our eyes become shining.

And now we look our slides and photos. On first weekend of February we meet us once more and we will have a slide-show together.

There are some special slides. Tikaram sitting on a rock and singing, Tikaram

after building a monument in the landscape (near Lukla) and of course the good

time on the summit.

We feel, the trip was a god send.

We enjoy that some of you are on trek these days.

Here in town we have some snow - so we have been skiing today. Today Marion and

I were together with Peter Werner and Christian Keßler and it was not without

speaking about Nepal.
