NTNC to issue permits even during holidays

Keeping in view the increasing number of visitors in the wake of new tourist season, National Trust for Nature Conservation has decided to open its Entry Permit Counters for Annapurna Conservation Area and Manasulu Conservation Area even during holidays, effective from September 17, 2008. The counters will open from 9 AM to 5 PM every day (from Sunday to Saturday), however, the permit will be issued only from 9AM to 4 PM every day. During Dashain holidays (October 6-12, 2008), the permit counters will open from 9 AM to 1 PM. The counters will remain close throughout the day on October 9, 2008 (Vijaya Dashami), according to the NTNC.
