India - Himachal pradesh

History : History of the Himanchal Pradesh back to 2 million year ago, where Indus valley civilization flourished in between 2250 and 1750 BC. The region was then regime under the different Kingdom and emperor of Audumbras, Trigarta, Kuluta, Kulindas, Gupta, Harsa, Rajput and Mugals. After getting freedom from British colony the region became state of India.  

Natural : There are many mountain ranges located in this state. The natural and religious treasure made this state a popular tourist destination. Simla, summer capital of the British Viceroys, Manali, Chamonix of India, Kulu Valley, Valley of the Gods, Rhongtang Pass, pass of Bones, Dharmasala, home of Dalai Lama, Tibet's spiritual and worldly leader will proves wealth of this state. 

Geography : The land of snow peak is the transitional zone from plains to high Himalaya and is bordered to Tibet, China in the north. A total area of 55,673 sq. Km. is dominant by mountains where Leo pargial, Deo Tibba, Kinnaur Kailash mountains make this state beautiful. The altitude of this states varies from 350m to 6975m.  

People: The major inhabitant of the state is Tibetan origin and Aryan. The total population is approximately 5170000 and majority has been practicing Buddhism and Hinduism. Hindi and local dialects use to communicate each other. 

Entry procedure: Indian Visa is required to enter Himanchal Pradesh, and it can be obtained from the any Indian Embassy and consulate office around the world. A two copies passport sized photograph is required to proceed the application form and visa is normally valid for 6 months.

Access: Indian airline operates regular scheduled flight to Simla, Kulu and Gaggal from Delhi, similarly Trans Bharat Aviation and Jagson airline have been operating scheduled and regular flight to Kulu from Delhi. Good railway network between Kalka and Simla, and tourists standard bus service available to reach Himanchal Pradesh from major cities of India.
